Is your baby or child having feet or leg issues or a sports injury?

Have you noticed them walking differently to other children or teenagers, or perhaps asking you to carry them more often?

It might not be a big issue at all, but definitely better to have it checked out early and to prevent future problems. Contact us now for an appointment!

Ingrowing toenails are a very common issue that can start from the baby/toddler stage. We routinely see them especially when teenagers go into narrow footy boots or in adults wearing steel-capped work boots. It can also start from a toenail injury (traumatized nail).

If the ingrown toenail is recurrent or severe, we carry out nail surgeries under local anaesthetic like Partial Nail Avulsions with or without Phenolisation (temporary or permanent removal of the offending side of nail), or Total Nail Avulsions (removal of the entire nail).

Warts are such pesky things aren't they? You don't want them to be your longest friend or worse still, spread to other parts of your feet or other people! Make an appointment now to get rid of them permanently!

Artery and nerve checks are usually for people with diabetes mellitus or peripheral vascular disease. If you have any concern with the blood and nerve supply to your feet and legs, do have a talk with your doctor about whether you are eligible for Medicare bulk-billing visits to the podiatrist under a yearly care plan (5 visits a year).

Are you going for your first big hiking trip? Or maybe a new work place with different conditions? Unsure of whether your footwear is suitable and how to choose a good pair of shoes?
